American Propaganda: Distractions From The Truth

Published by zenzypher at 5:24 pm under Economy Edit This

There are so many more distractions in the world of today then ever before, more products to want, an increase in personal “needs,” commercial idols, etc.  Why is it that we hunger for such useless garbage, things that wither with time just like the bodies we are trapped in?  Anything to distract us from the truth.

Perhaps we are so self-idling that we can not find it in ourselves to come to a humble stance in this world.  A remedy may be understanding that we are ALL beasts, animals, lesser than what we can conceptualize within our own minds-our own image of what G-d is or may be.  We consume, destroy, fornicate, kill, defecate…

It is not my intention to draw a negative image of human nature as we are also capable of love, understanding, congregation, peace, acceptance, etc.  However, it is necessary to understand and accept both the good and the bad in our natures in order to come to a higher understanding of our places in this world, this rock out in the boondocks of the milky way galaxy in the middle of a universe we are still incapable of mapping.

As a whole “we the people” must realize that we are all equal, cloths and possessions’ do not make any person better than another.  In all reality that which one purchases beyond what is necessary is and was preselected.  Our world has changed the method through witch it floods our minds and perceived realities with propaganda.  We are battling a Neo Hitler who sweeps in cloaked behind the faces of many men and commercial business.  At one time in history propaganda was conducted with marches, loud speakers, and banners, obvious attempts to touch the minds of a mass.  Now we in fact purchase propaganda sold to us, the people, as a trend.

It must have crossed the minds of some that prior to the American invasion of the middle east skulls and crossbones sugar coated in pink were the latest fashion trend.  Pop culture is manipulated in order to manipulate the people for whatever reason, be it economical, political, personal.  Now, after the presidential race our current leader, Obama, is pushing for a decrease in American occupancy of the middle east and coincidentally pop culture has been pushing sales in peace propaganda.  If you don’t take my word for it, visit your local mall; see for your self.  The peace sign is the latest “fad.“

The fashions will change as do the needs of the people controlling the media and other forms of propaganda, or in a less harsh terminology, persuasion.

It is what we leave behind, “what” not being a thing, but a concept, an ultimate truth.

Exactly what that ultimate truth is, I do know.  My truth is mine - Love, Faith, Imagination, and Perseverance.  What is yours?  Will you be distracted or choose to see beyond what the “world” shows us?
